The ravesafe(dot)com project was a small website my friend B and I started back around 2000.

We were young(ish) into the rave scene and had met many people who wanted to teach others about safer partying. When we first started the site we were not overly familiar with the other harm reduction groups around the world so built a web portal which had information from various sites, some 'raver' jokes and a forum for our friends to talk on.

The site grew over the years and we slowly started adding in links to some of the harm reduction groups around the world. Our ongoing aim was to try and connect the ravers of the world, to their local harm reduction group and to content relevant to safer partying.

Around 2004, the website database crashed and we attempted to rebuild the site with out much luck. Due to limited activity on the site, fewer new users posted and the community started to dwindle.

At the beginning of 2007, I decided it was time to retire the project - at least for the time being - and have put up a place holder page explaining this decision and linking to some of the more up to date and promiment websites that ravers may find useful.
